I started writing Growing for a class project. The project, called the Feminist Action Project, asked students to accomplish a version of activism. And while I tossed around a couple of ideas, I kept on going back to writing a book I wish I had when I was in middle school, when I struggling with my body, my friends, my self-esteem, etc. Growing is the start of that book. It is nowhere near finished, but this is the first draft, available for you all to read. 

Please keep in mind that this is simply a first draft. None of this has been edited. If you have any feedback on Growing, please feel free to comment on the chapters.
